The staff is very friendly, particularly Shawn, Tamaro, Tanieka, Amber and others. However, I am concerned about the loosening of the Covid restrictions . I have a relative currently in James River and unfortunately I’m about 4 hours away. However, the staff makes me feel comfortable about the services that are being provided.

She has been through the rehab and is now permanently in the nursing facility. I have to give the upmost respect and gratitude to all of the nurses and rehab on the Warwick unit. When I come to the facility they are always very willing to help and to have my mom looking her best. Thank you to the nurses and especially Mike “the TV guy” who’s always making sure the ladies have what they need. They might not be there at your beck and call because they are always short-staffed, but they are always there to attend to the needs, so kudos to the nurses at James River. There were some good nurses , and then there were those that just did the job and didn’t really care. As far as the physician’s assistant that was on, she did a good job communicating with me. This is her fifth visit there, and I’m very comfortable with the facility, the staff, and the care that they render. They’re trying to please a whole lot of different people with different tastes, and they do a pretty good job of it. There’s something different going on every day.
